
In 2012 the United Nations General Assembly marked February 6th as the date of International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation, intending to amplify and direct the efforts on the elimination of this practice.
As a community of changemakers we cannot be silent in front of such discrimination and crimes against women. As long as one woman suffers, we cannot consider ourselves to be living in a just and gender-equal society.
