Panel Debate

Inflation is rising. What’s next?

Description

Inflation has increased sharply to levels not seen for decades.

Now, it is time for us, the purpose generation, to ask: What is next?

Which consequences will this increase in prices have in our lives? How will it impact social welfare? And political stability? Will we be able to tackle the rise without compromising our progress towards more sustainable development?

Estoril Conferences, in partnership with Nova Economics Club, invited you to join this panel debate, where you had the chance to learn about the economic and social impact the rise in inflation is causing and the threat it poses to the future.

We also discussed the measures Governments and Central Banks are implementing: what they are, their expected impact, and whether more will be necessary.

The session concluded with space for questions, where participants had the chance to directly engage with the speakers, clarifying any questions they had or debating further issues.
