Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore, Jing Huang has published numerous articles, opinion columns, books focused on issues such as the Chinese elite politics, China’s development strategy and foreign policy, USA-China relations, the political role of its military, and security issues in the Asia-Pacific region. Jing Huang also held positions in other universities such as the Stanford University, Utah State University, Harvard University, having been a guest professor at various Chinese and Korean universities. Jing Huan was also a part of the Brookings Institute where he promoted dialogue between China, Japan, India and the USA, having also chaired the Tibet project.

In 2011, he was a speaker at the "The Architecture of Global Governance" (May, 5th).
