Mário Machungo served as Prime Minister of Mozambique from 1986 to 1994. S.A.
Mário Machungo was also economist at Banco de Fomento Nacional, Portugal and Mozambique in 1970; Minister for Economic Coordination in 1974; Minister of Industry and Commerce between 1975-1976; Minister of Energy in 1978; Minister of Agriculture from 1978 to 1982; Minister of Planning from 1980 to 1994; and Governor of the Zambezia Province from 1983 until 1986.
