This issue is dedicated to the concept of inclusive globalization, without forgetting the second anniversary of the ‘Global Review’.
It begins with the editorial from the Chair of the Estoril Conferences, Teresa Violante, who writes in praise of inclusive globalization. Oscar Moscariello, the Argentine Ambassador to Portugal, then writes of a global conscience, underlining the fact that the “history of human rights was also tailored by the actions undertaken by individual citizens.”
But our honor guest for this edition is former President of Latvia and President of the World Leadership Alliance – Club de Madrid, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, who declares that inclusive globalization is in need of a stronger commitment for shared societies.
Deputy Mayor of Cascais, Miguel Pinto Luz, argues that inclusive globalization is a process that needs to be deepened, not attacked. And Professor Alberto Alemanno calls for a European transnational political space built from the bottom-up.
