Eduardo Cabrita is the current Deputy Minister of Portugal. He graduated in Law from Lisbon University and was approved for the first PhD program of the same University, where he later became member of its board and lectured on Public Finance and Tax Law.
In the late 1980’s, Eduardo Cabrita was a permanent expert of the Portuguese Representation in the Portugal-China work group on Macau before advising the Macau Government, as Assistant Secretary for Justice, in 1988. Also in Macau, Eduardo Cabrita was a lecturer in the Law Faculty of Macau’s University.
In the 1990’s, he was high commissioner of the Commission for the Support of Restructuring Equipment and Territorial Administration and the Secretary of State Assistant to the Minister of Justice, before joining the Portuguese Parliament between 2002 and 2005 and between 2009 and 2015, when he became the Deputy Minister of Portugal.
