Matlotleng Matlou is CEO of the Africa Institute of South Africa and one of main south-african experts on migration issues. He has a vast work experience ranging from top management positions in South Africa to United Nations posts in different parts of the world. These included Director positions at the Department of Home Affairs and at the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism. He was also Field Officer of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kenya. Besides his regular participation at public and academic presentations, Matloteng Matlou has published several articles and books on migrations, refugees and tourism issues.
